Day 191-Our Letter of Acceptance has arrived!!!

Hi all,

I thought I would share our good news today. We received our "Letter of Acceptance" yesterday, this is a new form for families waiting for special needs children. This is a form that requires our signature and indicates that we accept to adopt Miss Presley. We have signed and it is being sent to China today -today,Feb 2, 2007. It will be in China for Monday morning and hopefully before the CCAA leaves for the Chinese New Year celebration (1 week off I beleive) our TA will be sent out.
We have been checking the stats with other families who have received this new Letter and what the timeframe was from LOA to the glorious TA. It appears it is anywhere from 10-15 days or so. So we are hoping it will arrive around the 19th, 20th or so and then we can start doing our travel preparations. If it does show up that week than we are looking at travel for Friday, March 2nd.

I am so relieved that we have finally something official from the CCAA indicating that our file is indeed progressing and that shortly we will be on our way. I know many people have been thinking of us and saying a prayer on our behalf and we are very greatful. Thank you so much!

We hope that Presley is doing well and hope she enjoys her last Chinese New Year in China. I feel for her foster parents who have loved her for over 2 years and also for our Presley who will greive at her loss of the people who have been her family for so long. We hope that her adjustment to her big new crazy family is a smooth one.

Hopefully soon I can post the news of our TA....we are in the home stretch....I am starting to get excited again..which I haven't been able to do in quite a while. The wait has been very hard on all of us. We are almost there..Beijing and Shenyang/Dalian...we are coming..
